5 Products I have used to the last drop!

by | May 3, 2020 | SKINCARE

Let’s have a look at the five products I have used to the last drop and was a little sad once they were finished! I will need to repurchase these sometime soon, once my skincare stash is lower.

1. Caudalie Cleansing Oil

Have you ever used an oil cleanser? Don’t be scared, rubbing a tonne of oil on your face does not leave you oily! They’re designed to emulsify once water is added and are fantastic at taking off makeup including waterproof mascara. Apply to dry skin, massage in, then if time permits, go the extra step and do a little face massage. Rinse with water with your hands or face cloth, leaving no residue, and your skin is not stripped. This Caudalie Cleanser is just pleasant and straightforward to use!

2. By Terry Baume De Rose Lip Balm

This balm is 100% a lux balm; it’s not a must … but it’s nice!! It’s something I would probably never have bought.

But for Christmas 2019 I purchased the Space NK Advent calendar (highly recommend for a treat, a great way to discover new things!) and this was in it. So now I understand the hype of this balm. The texture, the smell and hydration, it’s all bang on! If you feel like splurging and pampering your lips too this ones the one!

3. The Inkey List Retinol

Alongside sunscreen, which is a preventive measure. Retinol is the most studied ingredient for anti-ageing (if you haven’t got sunscreen as part of your skincare routine, look into it). Retinols vary a LOT, by price and strength. They are known to cause irritation: this one from the Inkey List is cheap and never gave me sensitivity. I saw an improvement in my skin, so win-win here! The Inkey list is a relatively new brand offering a ‘single’ active ingredient skincare at affordable prices. I have a list of more products I’m dying to try from this brand soon.

4. Caudalie Creme Sorbet

Again, I got this in the Space NK Advent calendar, and everything about this cream is beautiful. The smell is that lovely Caudalie grape scent that’s not ‘fake’ if you know what I mean. It’s a beautiful sorbet texture that feels so lux and melts into your skin as you apply it.

If I had to say one word to describe this, it would be… ‘Dreamy’.

5. Andalou Glycolic Mask

This one is here because it delivers … results results results! Surprisingly, it’s the one on the list that’s the most ‘clean’ skincare brand with also the most significant results. I slather thison maybe once a week; whenever I feel my t-zone is looking clogged or bumpy, this knocks that back. I emerge with smoother and brighter skin for sure! The pumpkin enzymes and glycolic acid do give your skin a little tingly feeling but push through it, as it usually stops after 5mins. Then after another 5–10minutes, I wash it off to see my new baby skin!! He he.

So that’s the 5 products that are the bomb! I would love to know which ones you scrape the bottom of the jar for! Any further questions about these 5 products, ask me down below, or on Instagram.

Take care with Skincare.
