Unfortunately or fortunately, you decide, but my love for iHerb is still strong. The most popular article on the BEAUTY talk to date is My top 14 beauty picks from iherb. Which was over a year ago, but I’ve not stopped ordering! So it’s time for an update!
If you’re not familiar with iherb, yes, they sell herbs (for cooking) and vitamins, which most people shop for, but they also have a load of other categories that most people seem to skip somehow! Household items, beauty, grocery, baby and pets.
PRO TIP: If you get the app on your phone, there’s no going back! I constantly check it when I’m thinking of buying something to see if it’s a better deal on iHerb.
In no particular order, here are some beauty items I have liked from iherb:
Missha, M Perfect Cover B.B Cream, SPF 42 PA+++
Been using this for a few months now; I’ve seen it for years here in Asia as an old-time popular product, so I thought, why not, let’s try it!
I can understand now it’s a beautiful texture! It looks just like skin never cracks, dries or goes into pores. The colour is a little odd when you first apply, but after spreading thinly just one pump over the face, it’s beautiful.
E.L.F., Hydrating Camo Concealer, Fair Warm
I noticed the launch of this on Instagram, so happy to see it on iHerb. They don’t carry all the products from Elf but still enough. The first, the one I ordered, I was not satisfied with the colour I selected, so I ordered a second lighter one, it’s okay when the price is this low!!
Use a minimal amount of this, and it will last well under the eyes.
KissMe, Heroine Make, Speedy Mascara Remover
This is a recent little random find, I’ve used this brand of mascara before, and just waterproof mascara, in general, always requires me to use a separate eye makeup remover to get it off properly.
The speedy mascara remover is brushed onto the lashes, and then I use my regular cleansing oil together for the rest of the face, and everything is removed.
SheaMoisture, Jamaican Black Castor Oil, Strengthen & Restore Leave-In Conditioner
I’m on my second bottle of this; it adds an excellent hydration to my curly hair, I use it on wet hair and spread it out well, and it smells fantastic.
Blistex Five Star lip protection
A very simple lip balm that you would never notice has SPF 30 protection, so a little win in here!
Bdellium Tools, Studio Line, Eyes Brush Set and Pouch
This brush set is a fantastic value! A load of usable brushes and a pretty decent quality brush case as well.
Neogen, Bio-Peel, Gauze Peeling, Wine
Great sized pads to wipe over your face after cleansing. I use 1-2 times each week for exfoliating and clearing pores.
DUO, Brush On Striplash Adhesive, White/Clear
It’s a must-have product for my work makeup kit, it’s way better to brush on the lash glue while holding the lash strip.
Juno & Co., Microfiber Sponge, Lavender Velvet
I got this from seeing Hannah on Instagram share her tip for applying sunscreen over makeup! It does work. You can see me do it in a video here.
Real Techniques, Instapop Eye Duo for Shadow
Fantastic little eyeshadow brushes for both powder or cream shadows or concealer!
The Dirt, Pure Copper, Tongue Scraper
Would you know what to do with this?? It’s a tongue scraper. Try it! Use this every morning, and my mouth just would not feel clean without it.
Orgain, Organic Superfoods, All-In-One Super Nutrition, Berry Flavor
I have been adding this to my daily protein smoothies for added greens. I don’t think I have tried it on its own, but in smoothies with chocolate protein powder, a banana, berries, oat milk, etc.
